Terms of Service

1. Definitions

• "AiProCV", "we", "our" and "us" mean AiProCV Ltd., a company registered in England and Wales.
• "Services" means the Website, mobile applications, and all content, features or functionality made available by us.
• "Content" means any text, graphics, audio, video, data or other materials appearing in the Services, including AI-generated output.
• "User Content" means any data, text, audio, video, CVs/résumés, interview recordings, prompts, or other materials that you upload, submit or otherwise make available through the Services.
• "Paid Services" means any subscription or one-off purchase offered for a fee, including premium plans and AI credit bundles.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any of the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, each incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, to create an account. If you are under 18 you represent that you have parental or guardian consent. You warrant that you have full legal capacity to enter into this contract.

4. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current and complete information, promptly update any information that changes, and maintain the confidentiality of your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect your data (including CVs, cover letters, and interview recordings) and is part of these Terms.

6. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on the Website or via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

7. Newsletter & Marketing Emails

Creating an account subscribes you to our newsletter and partner marketing emails only if you have actively opted-in in accordance with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. You may unsubscribe at any time without affecting your access to the Services.

8. Payments, Renewals & Refunds

• Pricing. Fees are displayed inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
• Subscriptions. Paid Services renew automatically at the then-current rate unless cancelled through your account dashboard at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cooling-off waiver for digital content. By purchasing Paid Services you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
• Refunds.
  • Trial period. We offer a 7-day trial for new subscriptions. Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of your initial purchase.
  • Technical issues only. Refunds may be granted if you report a reproducible, verifiable technical issue that materially prevents access to or use of the Paid Services.
  • Support first. You must contact support and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue before requesting a refund.

9. User Conduct

You agree to use the Services lawfully and not to:

We reserve the right to remove User Content, suspend or terminate accounts, and take other action we deem appropriate.

10. Licence to User Content

You grant AiProCV a world-wide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, reproduce, process, adapt, publish and display User Content solely for the purpose of operating, improving and promoting the Services. Except for this licence, you retain all rights in your User Content.

11. Intellectual Property

All Content (excluding User Content) is owned by AiProCV or its licensors and is protected by UK and international intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the Services or Content without our prior written consent.

12. AI-Generated Output & Professional-Advice Disclaimer

• AI Output. The Services use machine-learning models that may produce inaccurate or incomplete information ("hallucinations").
• Informational use only. All output is provided "as is" for general informational purposes and does not constitute professional, legal, career or other advice.
• Verification. You remain solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, legality and suitability of any output before relying on it.
• Professional outcomes. AiProCV does not guarantee employment, interview invitations, or specific professional outcomes.

13. AI Tools & Services Disclaimer

Our AI-powered tools are designed to assist with career development but have limitations:

• AI CV Builder: Output should be reviewed and customized for accuracy and relevance
• AI Cover Letter Builder: Generated content requires personalization and verification
• AI Interview Practice: Feedback is AI-generated and should not replace professional coaching
• AI CV Scanner: ATS optimization suggestions are recommendations, not guarantees
• AI Job Matcher: Job recommendations are based on algorithms and may not reflect all opportunities
• AI Professional Coach: Professional advice is informational and should be validated with professionals

14. Third-Party Links & Services

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not own or control. We do not endorse and are not responsible for any third-party content, practices or services. Access them at your own risk.

15. Copyright Notice & Takedown Procedure

If you believe that Content infringes your copyright, please send a notice to [email protected] with (i) your contact details, (ii) identification of the work infringed, (iii) the URL of the alleged infringement, and (iv) a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury. We will respond promptly in accordance with the UK safe-harbour regime.

16. Mobile App, Real-Time Q&A & Transcription

• Third-party speech service. Real-time transcription is provided by our transcription service; AiProCV accepts no liability for errors, omissions or delays.
• Recording compliance. You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable recording laws (e.g., two-party consent).
• Device & network risk. Mobile networks and operating systems may be insecure. We are not liable for intercepted transmissions, device malfunctions or data loss.
• Interview practice. You are responsible for ensuring all participants consent to recording and transcription.
• Limitation of liability. Subject to §17 below, AiProCV is not liable for any damages arising from use of the mobile app or reliance on generated answers.

17. No Guarantees

AiProCV makes no guarantee that you will obtain employment, receive interview invitations, achieve specific career outcomes, or improve your job prospects through the use of the Services. Our tools are designed to assist and enhance your career development efforts but do not guarantee specific results.

18. Limitation of Liability

• Exclusion of certain losses. AiProCV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, revenue or business, whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise.
• Cap on direct damages. AiProCV's total aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the greater of (i) £100 or (ii) the amount you paid for the Paid Services in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
• Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless AiProCV, its officers, directors, employees, agents and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (i) your use of the Services; (ii) your User Content; (iii) violation of these Terms; or (iv) recording-law violations or content you generate in the mobile app. We may assume the exclusive defence and control of any matter subject to indemnification and you agree to cooperate with us.

20. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, labour disputes, internet outages, malware attacks, government action or epidemic.

21. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. You may delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature survive termination (including §§ 7, 10-19, 21-24) remain in effect.

22. Assignment

AiProCV may assign or transfer these Terms, in whole or in part, to any affiliate or successor without restriction. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent.

23. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of them are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless you are a consumer resident in the EEA, in which case you may bring proceedings in your local courts. We do not participate in alternative dispute-resolution schemes unless required by law.

24. Changes to the Services

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. Where we materially reduce core functionality of a Paid Service, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and the option to cancel for a pro-rata refund of prepaid fees.

25. Entire Agreement & Severability

These Terms and the documents expressly incorporated herein constitute the entire agreement between you and AiProCV and supersede all prior agreements. Headings are for convenience only. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.

26. Waiver

Failure by either party to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of future enforcement of that or any other provision.
